HELLO READERS…


Today, we live in a 21st-century world where we all have achieved the right to freedom, including the right to vote, the right to act, the right to speech, and many more… We can legally claim and approach injustice in every aspect of our lives!! 


BUT, 

IN REGARD OF WOMEN -


HAVE WE REALLY GOT THE FREEDOM IN THE REAL SENSE? 

HAVE WE REALLY GOT THE RIGHT TO FEEL FREE FOR ANYWHERE WE GO?

HAVE WE REALLY GOT THE RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE AND SECURE AT OUR WORKING PLACE?? 

HAVE WE REALLY GOT THE RIGHT TO REMAIN FEARLESS WHEN WE FEEL ALONE ON STREETS OF LONELINESS??


HAVE WE??? 


ANSWER ME..... 


Even today, as girls and women we all have such insecurities, which have created a kind of fear in our daily lives!!

Even though we live in a global world and move at a fast pace in modern life, crimes are increasing daily. It’s just not about one nation; social crimes still exist in every corner of the world!!

But considering the recent case which happened in Kolkata, India where a PGT( Post Graduate Trainee) lady doctor was raped and brutally murdered by a group, at her working place in Hospital, shocked the entire nation!!

Really, I mean what’s happening worldwide. It’s really heart-wrenching to witness such a case and just seeing the brutality of the case, really proves that humanity is vanishing from society!!!

We can’t even imagine what fear, pain, and a lot of stress she must have gone through!! Really it’s such a shameful and heinous act committed which really not only shows its dreadfulness but also shows the growing insane, inhumane, cruel mentality the people are growing up, with no sense of guilt and shame for it!!

REALLY AT WHAT MORE WORSE EXTENT CAN IT GO FAR ENOUGH??

People are all in support of her and in all the way to provide her justice. Protests and strikes are taking place in almost all states and in several medical colleges!!

BUT,

THE QUESTION IS…

  • HOW FAR WILL IT GO??
  • WHEN WILL IT STOP??


Just making amendments to rules and regulations, changing time schedules for working hours for women, and creating safer places for women at workplaces would altogether not be sufficient enough, to resist such crimes.

There should exist a sense of consciousness and sensibility before even thinking about it -

  1. It should be the mentality that needs to be changed. In a growing age, it’s necessary to grow up with a positive and rightful mentality and mindset.
  2. One should be brought up in a way that should see and treat the other gender with the same respect, equality, and dignity
  3. It’s sometimes not a lesson to be taught or conveyed or spread!! It should come with inner self-consciousness and faith in humanity…. That a woman is not only the kind of person you can do anything with as you wish and whatever you want to. Remember....you also have a sister and a mother who are also women and raised you!! Think about your mother and sisters before, even before thinking of this corrupt mentality. 
  4. The government also should implement and enact certain strict laws and bold actions for culprits who commit such heinous acts. Having a strong punishment for committing such heinous acts is what is required… which should be no less than to be “HANGED TILL DEATH”


CRIMES ARE ALL WORLDWIDE. BUT THE THING IS -

  • HOW LONG WILL SUCH CRIMES EXIST IN THE SOCIETY?? 
  • HOW LONG WOULD A FEMALE WILL FEEL INSECURE??
  • WHY AND HOW LONG WOULD A WOMAN WILL SUFFER??


The answer is simple if we have the right direction of approach and sensibility for understanding it!!

It’s the need to just imbibe the right mentality for such culprits and a moral responsibility for the family to make sure that the boy they are making a mature man afterward should grow with the right mentality and should be inculcated with the lesson of humanity, respect, kindness and moral values n ethics to become sensible enough to realize what’s right and wrong!!

It’s high time to become aware of such incidents and unite as one to make sure that such incidents would never ever happen again anywhere by enforcing strict laws and strong actions against such crimes. 

It’s not about one girl or one nation, it’s about the security of each and every girl, every woman out there in every corner of the world!! Life is precious for everyone. It’s our responsibility to make every woman out there feel safe and secure.
